MISSING: Hazelton, Stacey – Alligator, MS – 05/21/04

Stacey Hazelton, age 21, was last seen in Alligator, Mississippi on May 21, 2004 and has not been seen or heard from since. It is not known what she was last seen wearing.

2/20/2007 – Texas EquuSearch will be traveling to Mississippi on Friday, February 23, 2007 and with the help and cooperation of the Bolivar County Sheriffs Department’s Deputy Gilmer, will work together to locate Stacey. 2/21/2007 – Due to weather conditions, TES will postpone the trip until Sunday. Dave Holloway, Natalee Holloway’s father, will be joining search efforts to help locate Stacey. We are honored that Dave is taking part in helping another family after suffering so much tragedy in his own life.

2/23/2007 – We have encountered another delay due to weather conditions and will travel to Mississippi middle of next week.

2/27/2007 – Tim Miller, along with Dave Holloway, members from Illinois and Atlanta with high tech ground penetration units, will be arriving in Bolivar County on Wednesday evening. We feel if the suspect is being honest about the location of Stacey, we are extremely optimistic we can find Stacey and bring her home. Please keep Stacey’s family and all our searchers in your prayers during this difficult time.

3/5/2007 – Authorities are planning a controlled burn of an area to further search for any sign of Stacey Hazelton. TES spent numerous hours combing through an area that was thought to be where Stacey’s remains had been placed. Our efforts are ongoing and we will continue to search. Please keep her family in your prayers.

James Arthur Fannings Jr. was convicted of Stacey’s murder in December of 2006, and sentenced to life imprisonment without eligibility for parole.
