FOUND SAFE: Owen Castle, 2 Yrs., Llano, TX, 02/03/09

02/05/09 – We just received news that Owen is doing well in his recovery.  Thank you to everyone who has asked about Owen and his well-being.  He continues to improve.  Thank you for your prayers and concerns.

02/04/09 – The massive search effort for Owen was a success.  Texas EquuSearch would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of the searchers and law enforcement that participated in the search.  We were impressed and heartened to see the level of cooperation and teamwork between all of the agencies and groups involved; the Llano County Sheriff’s Department, Texas DPS, Texas Parks and Wildlife, the local community, Texas EquuSearch and others came together to search for this dear toddler.  Special thanks go out to the helicopter pilot from Texas DPS who spotted Owen on the ground.

02/04/09 – Owen Castle UPDATE 8:30 a.m. – Owen has been located alive.  We ask that you continue to keep Owen and his family in your prayers.

02/04/09 – Owen Castle – age 2, is missing in Llano, Texas.  Owen was last seen in the early evening hours of Tuesday, February 2, 2009.  Owen was wearing Polo brand blue jeans, a long sleeve blue shirt with white squares on it and a yellow stripe on the collar, red Croc shoes and white socks.  He is listed as Missing & Endangered.

Tim Miller and a small group of TES volunteers arrived in Llano in the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 3, to assist law enforcement in the search for Owen.  We expect more volunteers to be arriving throughout the day to do searching on foot, on ATV and on horseback.   To view and print a Missing Person poster, please Click Here
