10/31/11 — Texas Equusearch Mounted Search and Recovery New Member Orientation and Training for new members and/or current members who have not attended an orientation class will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012, starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending approximately at 2:30 p.m. The training will be held at Bass Pro Shop, 1000 Basspro Drive, Pearland, TX 77047 (see map below). The orientation and training will be from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 12:00 p.m. There will one hour for lunch. The afternoon portion will be a field exercise, so please wear appropriate search clothing and shoes/boots. If you are going to be an ATV searcher, please do not bring it to training — you will be shown fundamentals only at training. To register, please email Sherry McKinney at sherry.mckinney@txeq.org.
