Obituary for Chelsea Fisher, Daughter of Long-Time Friends and Supporters of Texas EquuSearch

02/27/13 — Below is the Obituary for Chelsea Fisher, but first is a message from Debbie Drury, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Texas EquuSearch.  Ms. Drury has been personal friends of Andrea, Rick and Chelsea since they relocated from Pennsylvania to Texas. Many of us are also friends with Andrea and Rick, and had the distinct pleasure of meeting Chelsea.  Her death is such a senseless tragedy, and we are on a mission to help.  Andrea and Rick said if they can stop even one child from taking their life, then what they are doing is worth everything to them.

Message from Debbie Drury:

Today I am praying for Andrea Browne and how she lost her daughter over the weekend. It is a sad day when in America you can pay $40 over the internet for a suicide kit. What a loss — a 21 year-old young woman.  My heart aches and I am appalled that our society is willing to “over look” things like this…. Please pray for Andrea and Rick and God bless Texas EquuSearch and Tim Miller who donated 2 tickets to the family.  The one man who could afford the least to help, but continues to follow his heart. Lessons learned — and please let’s all do a kind deed today in memory of Chelsea.
