Texas EquuSearch has some very deep concerns about the forgotten many vehicles that rest on the floors of Houston bayous. With only small portions, of two major bayous checked, Texas EquuSearch located 125 vehicles lying in the mud and collecting silt in Sims and Braes Bayous. Do these vehicles hold the remains of any missing persons? Do they pose an environmental issue because of leaking fuel and other hazardous fluids & contaminants? Could they dam-up the water’s natural flow, and cause flooding to the surrounding neighborhoods? Could they pose a hidden hazard to the many kayakers and canoeist that use the waterways for recreation? Three of the questions are obviously “Yes”. But we’ll never know if they contains any human remains until the vehicles are brought ashore, and checked-out thoroughly. These are some questions that Tim Miller, and a lot of missing person’s family members would like answered.
