Update on Corey Brown

UPDATE: We want to update everyone on the condition of 18 year-old Corey Brown, who went missing on Saturday – June 14th 2014. Corey was moderately dehydrated, but his mother, and his caregiver quickly replenished his fluids, and he is already well back on the road to full recovery. Corey’s sudden disappearance became a highly critical situation when we learned that the teen is severely mentally challenged, is Autistic, is vision & hearing impaired, can’t verbally speak, depends on tube-feeding and was only wearing an adult diaper. Officers from the Houston Police Department quickly responded, and began an immediate search for Corey. Those officers included Missing Person Detective Hall, multiple uniformed patrol offices, the HPD helicopter division and the HPD K-9 division. Texas EquuSearch was soon called to join HPD in the search for Corey. Corey was found safe about 10:50 p.m. that night. We want to thank every Houston Police Department officer and Texas EquuSearch member that responded to help find Corey. You all turned a potential disaster – into a happy ending. Congratulations to Texas EquuSearch Search Coordinator Jerry Borrer for a “job well done”. Thank you all for what you do.
