FOUND DECEASED: James Stephens – Vernon Parish, Louisiana (MISSING: 3/29/14)

7/4/14 UPDATE: Human remains, thought to be those of James Stephens have been found by law enforcement. However, positive identification must still be confirmed by medical authorities and law enforcement investigators. We ask that you please keep James’ family, friends and his community in your thoughts and prayers during this most tragic time in their lives. We want to thank Det. Search Information: Law enforcement investigators with the Vernon Parish, Louisiana Sheriff’s Office have requested the help of Texas EquuSearch to find 31 year-old James Stephens in Rosepine, Louisiana. The active search for James will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday – April 12th 2014 at the Providence Baptist Church, located at 2206 Providence Rd. in Rosepine, Louisiana 71446. This location is just north of DeRidder, Louisiana, and it may also be listed as a Leesville, Louisiana address. We will be in need of searchers on foot and ATVs. Original Post: 31 year-old James Stephens was last seen in Vernon Parish, Louisiana on March 29th 2014. James was last known to be wearing blue jeans, an orange shirt and a ball cap. James is known to have Eczema on hands, and the tattoo of a coffin on his chest.
