HOUSTON BAYOUS HAVE A PROBLEM
New Sonar Scan of Bayous Conducted in Preparation for Vehicle Removal

HOUSTON, TX – Today, Texas EquuSearch and Michael Kubosh, Houston City Council Member At-Large 3, conducted a new sonar scan of Houston’s navigable bayous in preparation for removing more than 127 vehicles that have previously been located in the water.

Council Member Kubosh and Tim Miller, Founder and Director of Texas EquuSearch, will share their findings Wednesday, February 4 at 2 p.m. during a press conference, along with plans to remove the vehicles from the bayous.

“The vehicles we’ve found in the bayous create a pollution problem and pose a danger to people using the bayous for recreational purposes,” Kubosh said. “These vehicles contribute to flooding and drainage problems, and bayous are serving as hiding places for criminals to dump cars.”
