FOUND DECEASED: Jason Boyle – Houston, Texas (9/11/15)

The search for 36 year-old kayaker, Jason Boyle, is now over. Texas EquuSearch members have located human remains in Buffalo Bayou at 11:05 a.m. on Monday – September 14th 2015, and notified the Houston Police Department of the recovery. Though these remains are thought to be those of Jason Boyle; positive identification must still be confirmed my medical authorities and law enforcement investigators. We ask that everyone please keep Jason’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this most difficult and devastating time in their lives.

Update: The Houston Police Department has asked for the help of Texas EquuSearch in the search for a missing kayaker in Buffalo Bayou in Houston Tx. The search will begin on Sunday, September 13, 2015 in Houston, Tx. We will be in need of foot searchers only. Our staging location is the Eleanor Tinsley Park in downtown Houston, located at 500 Allen Parkway. The search will begin at 0600. Tim Miller will be our search coordinator. Jason was wearing checkered van shoes, light brown cargo shorts and gray t-shirt.
