BuseOur organization is honored and privileged to have Houston Police Department Missing Persons Detective Darren Buse as a speaker during this class. Detective Buse has been with the Houston Police Department Missing Persons Division for more than twenty years, and is known throughout the United States as one of the most knowledgeable, skilled, successful and respected missing person investigators in the country. Det. Buse is directly responsible for safely reuniting countless numbers of missing persons with their loving, but worried family members. Hard-working Det. Buse infuses the highest degree of professionalism, integrity and sincerity into every case that he works. Det. Buse has spent immeasurable hours researching how Alzheimer’s patients might react when they disappear, and what can be done to locate the missing Alzheimer’s patients faster, and safe. Det. Buse’s remarkable projections on how to find a missing Alzheimer’s patient; based on his research and experience, is a main factor in the extraordinarily high success rate the Houston Police Department maintains for locating missing Alzheimer’s patients safe, and returning them to their loving families.

Det. Busey does not only work on missing Alzheimer’s patients though. His normal heavy caseload consist of other missing persons with special needs, possible suicides and potential foul play cases among others. In any spare minutes that he has, Det. Buse goes through the missing persons cold cases files to get leads, and bring closure to a missing person’s family.

It a special privilege for us to have such a distinguished, dedicated and respected investigator come speak at our class and give us a better insight, and wider perspective on locating missing persons. So if you have can attend this special training class; it is greatly encouraged.
