Special Training Session Canceled

Texas EquuSearch will be having a searcher training event for all Texas EquuSearch members on Saturday – March 19th 2016 @ 9:00 a.m. This field training class will be held in the 10700 block of Buffalo Speedway @ Willowbend Blvd. in Houston, Texas 77054. This location is at the dead-end on Buffalo Speedway, about one mile south of the South 610 Loop.

This class will train our foot, ATV and horse searchers on updated search techniques, proven search methods, safety and procedures. This searcher training event is for all of our members that searches on foot, ATV or horse. This class is for all current and new members of the Texas EquuSearch team. We need an accurate number of members that are planning to attend, and this is an R.S.V.P. event. Note: your membership applications must have been received in our office by March 1, 2016, in order to be eligible to participate in the training.

You can reserve your attendance and participation by going to txeq.missing@gmail.com and leaving your name, phone number, email address and whether you will be searching on foot, ATV or horse. This prior registration is required to participate. The deadline for you to register is Tuesday – March 15th 2016 @ 8:00 a.m. Your lunch will be provided by the “Lighthouse Charity Team”.

Please bring a chair, and dress appropriately for some thick brush and possible muddy conditions. We strongly encourage all of our foot, ATV and horse searchers to attend and participate in this very important training session if you plan on searching with our team in the future … regardless of any previous training you have already had. This is an all-day event, and it will conclude about 4:00 p.m.
