03/07/17 — GROUND SEARCH ACTIVATION: The active search for 79 year-old Victor Chavez will begin on Wednesday – March 8th 2017 at 9:00 a.m. We will be in need of foot searchers only. No ATVs are needed in this search. The search Command Post will be located at 2535 Old Galveston Rd (Hwy. 3) in Houston, Texas 77017. Please dress appropriately for the forecasted weather conditions, and a probable brushy and muddy terrain. Jack Boggess will be your Search Coordinator, and he can be reached at (713) 826-3869.

03/07/17 — 79 year-old Victor Chavez was last seen in Houston, Texas on February 25th 2017. Victor was last seen walking, wearing a navy blue, long sleeved (button-up) shirt, black Dickie pants and black tennis shoes. He was also wearing a black cowboy hat. Victor has a scar on his right leg (thigh) that is 3 – 5 inches long. Victor often stumbles due to a previously broken hip. Victor has Alzheimer’s and some other concerning medical issues, so it is urgent to find him as soon as possible.
