11/19/09 — It is with a heavy heart that we report the remains of Kelly Currin Morris, age 28, were located in the southern part of Granville County, NC. Kelly’s husband, Scott, has been charged with her murder and is being held without bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 2, 2009.
We would like to thank all of our volunteers who participated in the search for Kelly. We would also like to recognize all of the local searchers for all of their hard work.
Please keep Kelly, her children, parents, other family members and her friends in your prayers during their time of grief. Hopefully, they will get some justice for Kelly in the court system.
Kelly Currin Morris, age 28, was last seen on September 3rd, 2008. Her house was burned down on the 4th, in Stem, North Carolina. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a grey colored t-shirt. Her car was found in a new subdivision that was just getting homes built. The fire has been ruled arson. Kelly’s father has offered a $30,000 reward for information leading to the location and recovery of his daughter.
