05/22/09 – We are sad to announce that 38 year old Bobby Alexander was located deceased on Thursday, May 21, 2009.  Bobby will be missed by his loving family and friends.  We ask that you continue to keep them in your prayers during their time of grief.

05/19/09 – Bobby Alexander, age 38, was last seen on Sunday, May 17, 2009, in the late afternoon. Bobby has tattoos on both upper arms, one on his hand and chest. Bobby was in a boat with his two sons in Matagorda Bay when he encountered trouble. He made it to an oil rig, where his sons were rescued, but unfortunately, Bobby was taken away by the current before he could be rescued. Please call if you have any information.

    I MISS BOBBY SO MUCH. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED TO HEAR HIM LAUGH, TO SEE HIM PLAY WITH HIS CHILDREN, AND TO SEE THE HUGS AND TOTAL AFFECTION HE SO OFTEN DISPLAYED WITH MY DAUGHTER, HIS WIFE. IT WILL BE ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM TO EVER BE FORGOTTEN.

    My family (Steph and Shawn and myself) are so sorry for you and your family. I can remember when Bobby was younger and stayed at my house while visiting him grandmother,. The kids had such fun and he was such a cutup.
    I am a cousin to Belinda his mother and my heart goes out to all of you.

    I MISS MY SON-IN-LAW, BOBBY DEAN ALEXANDER, JR. HE WAS A HUG GIVING AND AFFECTIONATE YOUNG MAN AND I WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT A WONDERFUL HUSBAND HE WAS FOR MY DAUGHTER AND FATHER OF FOUR OF MY GRANDCHILDREN. I WILL MISS HIS UNIQUE LAUGHTER.

    Bobby and Aunt Alice and family, I am so heartbroken for you all in your loss. I remember being best friend with my cousin, Bobby, as a child. I still think of you often. Losing a child is more than I can imagine. My prayers are with you all.

    Once I was one of Bobby’s best friends in our youth we had a blast and made memories of many life times .Bobby will be missed by myself and my family .My heart goes out to all of Bobby’s family .Our prayers also go out for Bobby and his family..If you guys need any thing at all we are just a phone call away.

    I was a long time friend of Bobby we worked together for years and this news just shocked me.My prayers go out to his family and his kids.He was one the best in the turbine business a true craftsman with great knowledge and I will never forget him and the good times we had.I’m the same as anyone else who knew Bobby he had a unique laughter that you will never forget.Thanks to all that was involved in the dedication of helping on the search.I know its hard not knowing if he would ever turn up and you try to hope for the best but I’m glad that he did it turn up so it would at least bring some comfort to everyone.Our prayers go out to the family.

    My husband, myself, and my children would like to thank everyone who was envolved in this search. Bobby was a good person, a great husband, and a wonderful father to all four of his childern. The three oldest children live with me, his ex-wife. We are thankful that you were able to help us.

    I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE TEXAS EQUUSEARCH AS WELL AS THE COAST GUARD AND ALL THOSE WHO WERE ACTIVE IN THE SEARCH FOR MY SON-IN-LAW, BOBBY DEAN ALEXANDER, JR. HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM. I WILL MISS HIS LAUGHS.

    Thank you Equusearch for giving the family of Bobby Alexander hope by continuing the search for him. The family is staying in Port Aransas waiting on word of him and assisting in the search. May God be with you and his family and I pray you find him safe and reunite him with his faimly. I also hope the community will assist you in any way to find this wonderful man.
