Nakketa Smith, age 30, was last seen on September 12th at her home in Dell City, Oklahoma. Her children state she was wearing a pair of black Capri pants, a black shirt and golden and black sandal heels. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Tim Miller and a group of TES members are now in Dell City, Oklahoma. If you are interested in Volunteering to search the command center will be located at: VFW in Dell City, 4400 SE 9th Street, also known as VFW Drive. The search will begin tomorrow, 9/26/08 at 8:00am. Please make sure you have a copy of your photo ID available with the Volunteer form. We are in need of searchers with horses, ATV’s and foot searchers.

In a late night phone call tonight, our Director/Founder, Tim Miller, has confirmed that the body of Nakketa Smith, missing from Del City since September 13, has been located. Texas Equusearch would like to thank the community and the volunteers who stepped forward to assist Ms. Smith’s family in their time of need. Without community support and volunteers, Texas Equusearch would not be able to do the job we do. The cooperation of law enforcement and their willingness to extend every courtesy in working with our all-volunteer organization is to be highly commended. We are so grateful that we were able to help the family to find closure and bring Nakketa home. Every missing person is important and deserves to be found.  Please continue to keep Nakketa’s family, especially her children, in your prayers.
