Alvin Tipps, a long time, dedicated member of Texas EquuSearch, is currently undergoing treatments for a serious illness.  Alvin and his wife Jan, have been with TES for a number of years, and have participated in multiple searches throughout the country.  They have come to be loved and cherished by all of us, and we wish to take this time to extend our love and prayers to Alvin and Jan.  Please feel free to add your comments here, wishing them well.

We love you Alvin, and can’t wait to have you back with us, healthy and refreshed.

    Alvin and Jan,

I hope to see you soon. Please take care as I will be coming back to do more searches myself and one will miss the expertise of fellow senior members to guide the way for her! Both of you are truly wonderful gems to behold and make each moment of a search so very worth while. I could not dream of any 2 better mentors! Take time to heal but hurry backl soon! You are missed and loved!

    Dear Mr. A. Tipps

today is Tuesday, February 10, 2009 @5:17 pm.

I just saw this piece of news on TxEqquSearch website.

If it’s ok, please update your condition????

I have been a volunteer member for three years now….. and wanted to say “thank you” for taking care of me.

the last search I was on was for the two children Randy and Denim Sylvestor (two children) it was extremely hot while conducting the search for the two beautiful children.

I was on a yellow ATV Honda – Mr. Tipps guided me throough the wooded areas and always made sure he could see me from afar. While on a search, I lost my truck keys in a wooded area at the site we were searching – although the rest of the ATV crew had to leave, Mr. Tipps told me that “we leave no member behind” so he stayed with me while my husband came to the site to deliver my extra pair of keys.

I told Mr. Tip;ps to please leave and get some rest before the next search was arranged – again he refused to leave me.

Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Tipps.

    forever grateful
    Elisa Martinez-Carey
